Michael Lutes, M.S.

I work with baseball, softball, and other competitive athletes as a mental performance coach, helping them build the mental skills to compete with confidence under pressure. My approach is grounded in evidence-based sport psychology principles, with a holistic focus on the whole athlete — valuing personal growth and well-being as much as athletic success.

Considering the importance of mental, physical, and nutritional support, my primary focus is on strengthening mental resilience and fostering a growth-oriented mindset. As I work toward earning my Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) certification, I'm committed to applying evidence-based strategies that help athletes sharpen their mental skills — and equip them with tools that extend beyond sport to enrich their lives.

Who I Work With

Whether you're a high school athlete fighting for a starting spot, a college player grinding through a long season, or a competitor who shines in practice but tightens up in games, the mental game is often what separates where you are from where you want to be.

I help athletes build the skills to stay confident under pressure, reset after mistakes, and compete freely when it matters most — on the field and well beyond it.
